Overall purpose of role: ·Ensuring new releases of software are rigorously and methodically tested, completing all testing activities to the agreed schedule and standards. ·Reporting on progress and issues to the Test team lead in a timely and accurate manner. ·Investigate and track failures found during testing and actively progress resolution ·Provide guidance and technical expertise within the test team. ·Contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Data Warehouse test team Skills Required: ·5 years minimum experience in a technical testing or development role ·2 years experience of working in a data warehousing environment loading high volumes of data. ·2 years Oracle, SQL, PL*SQL (8i or 9i) ·2 years Knowledge of ETL tools (Ab Initio*Infomatica) ·2 years Unix (shell scripting) ·Must be able to work in a team environment ·Working knowledge of Test DirectorMSB Technology (a division of MSB International PLC) is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
